Founded by chef Talula Dempsey, Talula’s Kitchen launched in 2023 as a bespoke dessert catering and specialty pastry business, offering cookies, tartlets, seasonal bundt cakes, and more. What began as a childhood passion evolved into a professional culinary journey that took Dempsey from home baking to earning multiple Pastry Certifications at Le Cordon Bleu Paris and Le Cordon Bleu London. She later honed her craft as part of the pastry team at Michelin-starred Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills.
In 2025, Talula introduced her small-batch signature Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, crafted with premium chocolate and organic ingredients. Designed to deliver a chewy center with crisp edges, the mix was released in limited quantities before production was paused as she returned to London to complete her studies.
This chapter of her journey reflected a deepening focus on sustainability, holistic wellness, and the belief that food can be both indulgent and nourishing. During her studies in London, Talula completed a Diploma in Plant-Based Cuisine and Pâtisserie at Le Cordon Bleu, where she developed nutrient-forward recipes emphasizing high-protein, vitamin-rich ingredients and minimal processing. Alongside her studies, she collaborated with brands on recipe development and culinary strategy, provided food trend insights, created and filmed original recipe content for digital platforms, and wrote in-depth culinary and educational content tailored for social media audiences.
Talula has also guest lectured at George Washington University, where she spoke on the role of AI in early-stage startups, particularly its potential to expand access to plant-based education, recipe development, and sustainable food systems.
